Northampton footballers of all talents (or none) will have the chance to lift a trophy at Wembley on FA Cup Final day via the nation's largest five-a-side tournament.

On Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th February, The FA People’s Cup will be taking place at Goals in Mereway, giving players the chance to play in the nation’s largest and most inclusive five-a-side tournament.

A Football Association spokesman said: "The competition is completely free to enter and welcomes a range of abilities, from first-timers to more seasoned players.

"So whether you can bend it like Beckham or are kicking a ball for the first time, you can get involved."

By entering, players are in with a chance of playing at the England football team's headquarters, St. George’s Park, in the finals and even lifting the winner’s trophy on the pitch at Wembley during the Emirates FA Cup Final in May.

What’s more, there are 5 different categories that people can enter, including Male 35+ Vets, 16+ Adult Male & Female.

Players must register for the competition by February 18 in order to take part. The competition welcomes both teams and individuals – meaning you don’t need to be part of an existing five-a-side team to participate.
