The Errol Flynn Filmhouse and NN Contemporary Art in Northampton are holding a special Eurovision Song Contest night.
Lovers of the Eurovision Song Contest can enjoy the final in style at the Errol Flynn Filmhouse, on Saturday, May 23, with a night of sing-a-longs, scoring, themed drinks and snacks, dressing up and quizzes, paying tribute to this well-loved institution, culminating in the chance to watch the competition on the big screen.
Doors open at 7pm for this event hosted by BBC Radio Northampton’s Helen Blaby, and the evening kicks off with a show reel of the best Eurovision moments from across the years, and a Eurovision quiz – with Eurovision-themed prizes to be won!
Throughout the evening a selection of snacks and drinks will be served – inspired by the countries taking part in the contest. Everyone is encouraged to dress to impress, with a prize awarded for the best Eurovision-themed outfit.
The BBC coverage of the Eurovision Song Contest final will be shown live from Vienna from 8pm, with the chance for everyone present to join in with some judging and scoring during the interval before settling down to see how the countries of Europe have voted.
