Carlsberg will install the machine outside The Hollow store in Monarch Road, Kingsthorpe Hollow, and football fans can swap shirts between 4pm and 7pm.

The vending machine has been created by the Northampton-based brewer to celebrate the 50 year anniversary of England’s World Cup win in 1966 and help get England fans behind the national team ahead of their first Euro 2016 match on Saturday night.

A spokesman said: “Shirt for Shirt is the latest activity where we aim to substitute ordinary experiences for the extraordinary for England fans across the country.”

Over 100 shirts will be given away on the day, but only to over-18s.
