Eight travellers' caravans to be moved on from Northampton park
Travellers' who have set up camp in a Northampton park will be moved on within days, the local authority says.
Eight caravans and associated vehicles have assembled near the dip at Northampton Racecourse and are spread out over the sports pitches.
A spokesman for Northamptonshire County Council said it had been made aware of the unauthorised encampment.

Hide AdHe said: “Contact has been made and, if they are still on site tomorrow morning, they will be issued with a Section 77 direction to leave notice.
“This will give them a further 24 hours to vacate. If after this time they are still there a summons will be issued for them to appear at magistrates' court.”
