Olympic silver medalist shares Badminton moves with youngsters at Northamptonshire primary school

Boughton Primary School near Northampton welcomed an Olympic star to school today (Friday).

Gail Emms MBE, who won a silver medal at the 2004 Olympic Games, has spent the day at Boughton Primary School in Boughton today where she has held sessions with all year groups to teach them how to play badminton.

Paul Archer, headteacher, said: “It’s a great way to motivate the children. They’re really enjoying it.

“Gail has got a fantastic rapport with the children. She’s a great ambassador for sport.”
