Drivers can expect long delays following serious accident involving car and a lorry in Northamptonshire
Motorists can expect delays of up to 30 minutes following an incident involving two vehicles in Northamptonshire.
One lane has been closed near Daventry and long delays can be expected on the M1, northbound between junction 16 and Watford Gap Services because of an incident involving a lorry and a car.
Highways England have alerted drivers that the incident is expected to clear sometime between 8.30pm and 8.45pm tonight (Sunday).
It is understood that congestion continues through to junction 18.
