The pets - Roxy and Milo - went missing between Easton Maudit and Yardley Hastings, sometime between 8.45am and 9.15am on Tuesday, January 31. The information has only been released by Northamptonshire Police today, March 6.

A spokesman for Northamptonshire Police said: "The victim was out walking when the two dogs went on ahead, but they were nowhere to be seen when he arrived at his car. Extensive searching of the surrounding area has not found the pets and police now believe the dogs were picked up in a vehicle and removed from the location."
