Police want to talk to this Northampton Town fan after a bottle was thrown on the pitch at an away game.

The incident happened on Saturday, February 25 when Fleetwood played host to Northampton at Highbury Stadium in a League One fixture.

A spokesman for police said: "During the match a bottle was thrown onto the pitch towards Fleetwood players as they celebrated a goal near to Northampton supporters in the Percy Ronson stand of the stadium."

PC Paul Gahan, of Lancashire Police, said: “We are keen to speak to the man pictured in connection with our on-going enquiries into the incident.

“If anybody recognises him, or has any information about the incident that could assist with our enquiries, we would urge them to get in touch with us.”
