Do you know this man? Police issue CCTV image after raid at Northampton salon

A CCTV image of a man police would like to speak to about a break-in at a hairdressers in Northampton has been released.

The salon in Castillian Street was raided on Wednesday, May 25.

Police today issued an appeal for anyone who recognised the person in the CCTV image to contact them.

A spokesman said: “An offender broke into the rear of the premises at about 4.35pm and stole cash and other property before making off via the same route.

“The offender is believed to be a white man, about 6ft and of thin build. He was wearing a red hooded top, with the hood up and a blue cap beneath. He wore a hi-vis top over the hoodie, grey trousers and black trainers. He was also wearing white gloves and was carrying a black shoulder bag.

“Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have any information regarding it.

“They would also like to speak to anyone who may recognise the person pictured in the attached CCTV image,” the spokesman said.

Witnesses or anyone with information about this incident should contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
