Do these stray pets in Northampton know it's Christmas time again?

A veterinary practice in Northampton has launched a Christmas appeal and is collecting toys, treats, bedding and food, for a local animal shelter.

Family run veterinary group White Cross Vets is urging local pet lovers to drop their donations into its practice at Weston Favell Shopping Centre and these will then be donated to Animals in Need in Northampton. The charity is a voluntary organisation dedicated to rescuing sick, injured, trapped and distressed wild and domestic animals.

Nishi Jani from White Cross Vets in Northampton, says: “We are hoping to bring joy to lost, abandoned and homeless dogs and cats over the Christmas period. The charity we are supporting does a fantastic job under difficult circumstances and relies heavily on donations, so we’re delighted to be able to support them in this way.

“We’re collecting all types of wet and dry food, as well as toys, bedding and treats for the charity and all donations are welcome, whether it’s a single toy or tin of food or a whole sack full!”
