Did you see attack on taxi in Kettering town centre?

A taxi window was smashed and cash stolen in a daytime attack in Kettering.

Northants Police have just released details of the crime which happened on Tuesday, November 15, at noon.

An offender smashed the driver’s window of a silver taxi parked in the layby in Montagu Street, near to Papa John’s restaurant, and stole a blue folder containing a quantity of cash.

He is described as a white man with a slim build, around 5ft 6in with a brown beard and wearing a purple hooded top, grey tracksuit bottoms and a baseball cap. He was with a white, 5ft 6in woman with shoulder length brown hair who was carrying a JD sports bag.
