Diamond rugby pendant hand-made in Northampton for Dylan Hartley's testimonial

The England captain and Northampton Saints star is holding a testimonial gala dinner next month in London. The organising committee says a "substantial amount of funds raised during the year" will go to charitys Try for Change, The Movember Foundation and Matt Hampson Foundation.

As part of the year, Steffans jewellers in Northampton town centre has created a diamond pendant set it 18ct white and yellow gold, with the 0.50ct diamond rugby ball. It has been hand made and retails at Â£4,995.

Wesley Suter, from Steffans, said: "Dylan approached us to commission something unique and bespoke and we jumped at the chance. The diamond has been set in 18ct yellow gold to celebrate Dylan's loyalty to his Northampton club."
