A cyclist suffered head and body injuries after swerving to miss a car and crashing into a wall in Irthlingborough.
The cyclist was travelling down Irthlingborough High Street just before 10pm on Tuesday when the accident happened.
Medics from the Magpas team were the first on the scene.
Doctor Dave Leverton and paramedic Ollie Robinson administered pain relief for the man who had suffered injuries to his head and body.
They accompanied him to hospital and said he was in a stable condition when they arrived.
Police and a crew from East Midlands Ambulance Service also attended.
A police spokesman said: “A cyclist was going down the hill in High Street and swerved to miss a car and hit a wall.
“The 50-year-old man was taken by land ambulance to Kettering General Hospital.”
