Cyclist dies following fatal collision in Northampton this morning

A 24-year-old cyclist has sadly died following a collision in Northampton involving a van during the early hours of this morning (Thursday, October 4).

Shortly after 6am, the van which was travelling along Moulton Way, Northampton, was in collision with the cyclist.

Emergency services were called to the junction of Moulton Way and Manning Road, near to Moulton Fire Station, following the collision at around 6am.

Moulton Way had to be fully closed while emergency crews dealt with the accident, though it was reopened at 10.40am.
