Curry restaurant in Northampton awarded certificate of excellence by TripAdvisor

An Indian restaurant has been recognised by a top consumer website for consistently good feedback from its customers.

Lasaan, in White Hills Crescent, Whitehills has received a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence award.

The award celebrates excellence in hospitality and is given only to establishments that consistently achieve great reviews on the world-famous website.

Owner Jay Miah said: “This is a true source of pride for the entire team at Lasaan.

“There is no greater seal of approval than being recognised by one’s customers and knowing you are delivering what the customers want.”

The Certificate of Excellence accounts for the quality, quantity and freshness of reviews submitted by travellers on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period.

To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.

Heather Leisman, vice president of industry marketing at TripAdvisor, said: “This recognition helps people identify and book properties that regularly deliver great service.”
