Woman approached by three men and assaulted during argument in Northampton town centre

A woman was standing in a Northampton town centre street when she was approached by three men.

The victim, who was wearing a lime-green coat, was standing in Wellington Street when the three men approached her and an argument ensued.

One of the men then allegedly grabbed her wrist and almost pulled her to the floor.

The offender is described as a white man in his mid-thirties with a scar on his face, wearing a red t-shirt.

Officers are appealing for witnesses after a woman was assaulted in Northampton town centre on Thursday, 30 June between 5.50pm and 6.30pm.

Witnesses, or anyone with information, are asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101. Alternatively, they can call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
