Windows left damaged after stones were thrown at church in Northamptonshire

Windows at a church in a Northamptonshire town were damaged after stones were thrown at them on three separate occasions.

A number of windows at Holy Cross Church in Daventry were damaged in the attacks which took place last week during Holy Week. The most recent incident happening on Wednesday, March 23 between 6pm and 9pm.

Officers would like to trace a boy who has been seen acting suspiciously near the church. He is described as white, about 15 years old with a slim build, wearing a light-grey tracksuit.

Police have increased patrols in the area and officers are working with partner agencies and the church warden to increase security and safety in the area.
