A pair of burglars who took two attempts to break into a Wellingborough shed are wanted by police.

It's believed the offenders were two teenage boys, whose first go at getting into the shed in Windermere Drive between 10pm and 10.25pm on September 8 was a failure.

They returned shortly afterwards with bolt croppers but it's unknown if anything was stolen.

A police spokesman said: "The first offender was white, aged between 15 and 16 with dark hair, he wore a light coloured jumper, dark trousers and dark trainers.

"The second offender was also white, aged 12 to 14, of thin build and with curly, dark blond hair. He wore dark trousers and shoes."

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have any information regarding it.
