Wellingborough drug dealer caught with £3,000 worth of heroin and cocaine in Kinder Surprise eggs jailed

Nicolaas Massyn, aged 20, was found to be carrying 63 wraps of heroin and 56 wraps of cocaine when he was stopped in a VW Polo in Minerva way, Wellingborough, on April 14 this year.

Northampton Crown Court heard the drugs, with a street value of almost £3,000, were found inside two Kinder Surprise eggs in the vehicle.

Massyn was arrested and interviewed and then released on bail.

Gary Short, prosecuting, said, 11 days later, Massyn was seen in the car park of the SureStart Centre in Wellingborough in a white Vauxhall.

Police officers detained Massyn and they found two Kinder Surprise eggs wrapped in a sock that contained 50 wraps of heroin and 42 of cocaine, worth a combined £1,840.

Massyn, of Wellingborough, was also found to be in possession of a large hunting knife.

At court on Monday, he pleaded guilty to four charges of possessing class A drugs with intent, possessing a bladed article in public and driving whilst disqualified.

Recorder Patrick Upward QC sentenced Massyn to a total of five years in prison for the drugs charges and one-year, to be served consecutively, for possessing the knife.
