Vulnerable man sought by police in Northampton

Police are appealing for help in trying to find a vulnerable missing man who they believe may be residing in Northampton.

Shazad Iqbal from Glasgow, has been missing since March 7.

A police spokeswoman said: “He is also known as Sheraz Khan or Imran Ahmed and information suggests that he is possibly residing within the Whitehills or Kingsthorpe area or Northampton town centre.”

During his time in Glasgow he is known to have used a variety of homeless services, drop-in centres, local libraries, asylum seeker services and similar support agencies.

Mr Iqbal, who is of Pakistani origin, is 32-years-old and is described as 6ft, slim with black heavily receding hair.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact Northamptonshire Police in the first instance on 101.
