Two drivers hospitalised after serious collision in Northampton

The collision happened at about 6.20pm yesterday, near the roundabout junction with Talavera Way and Lings Way when a Blue Mercedes E300, driven by a 45-year-old man from Northampton, collided with a Grey Nissan X-Trail, driven by a 59-year-old man from Wellingborough.

Both men were taken to Northampton General Hospital for treatment and an air ambulance landed at the scene. The Mercedes driver was later transferred to University Hospital Coventry with suspected serious injuries.
