Three arrests as dozens of police officers raid homes in Northamptonshire town

Thirty officers were involved in raids on a number of addresses in the Daventry area early today (Friday, September 18)

Three men, aged 37, 30 and 25 were arrested on drugs-related offences, along with a 34-year-old woman after warrants were carried out at properties in Daventry, a spokesperson for Northamptonshire Police said.

"Police seized a substantial haul of cash as well as multiple amounts of suspected Class A drugs," the spokesperson said.

Today’s enforcement was linked to drugs supply in and around Daventry town centre.

DI Nick Cobley, from the Force’s Serious and Organised Crime team, said: “Today’s activity is part of #100Days campaign, Northamptonshire Police’s continuous focus to tackle serious and organised crime in all areas of our county.

“We will continue to be relentless in the pursuit of those criminals who are repeatedly offending in our communities so that they have nowhere to hide.”
