Thief steals handbag from Northamptonshire house while occupants are inside

A brazen thief stole a handbag after entering a house in a Northamptonshire village even though the occupants were at home.

Witnesses should contact police on 101.

The burglary happened at some point between 6.45pm and 7.05pm on Monday, February 22, in Old Road, Walgrave.

The offender is believed to have walked up the drive, into the back garden, and into the kitchen through an unlocked door.

They stole a handbag and left the same way, with the occupants at home at the time.
