These are the faces of the criminals jailed at crown and magistrates courts in Northampton during August.

This is not a list of all offenders who went through the court system in Northampton last month, but defendents who have committed some of the most serious offences.

Kelly, of Gordon Street, Rothwell, was charged with theft and attempted robbery from a shops in Market Hill and Kettering Road. He was jailed for 32 months for attempted robbery and four months for theft (served consecutively)
