Teenager left with broken arm after being knocked over by car in Northamptonshire car park

A teenager suffered a broken arm and significant cuts and bruises after being hit by a car in a Northamptonshire car park.

The incident happened between 10.30pm and 11.30pm on Wednesday, April 6, in the Phoenix Parkway car park, Corby.

A group of about six young people were in the car park between Asda and Matalan, when a man driving a silver Astra approached and spoke aggressively to the victim, before driving towards him and knocking him down.

The victim, an 18-year-old man, sustained a broken arm and significant cuts and bruises to his leg.

The driver of the Astra is described as white, in his 40s, and clean shaven with short brown hair.

Witnesses, or anyone who may have seen the Astra in the area around the time of the incident, are asked to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
