Sex attack in Northampton park

A woman has told police she was sexually assaulted in a Northampton park.

The alleged assault happened on Friday, June 3, between 5am and 5pm.

The woman had been in the town centre the previous evening, before making her way to Dallington Park.

She was wearing black tracksuit bottoms and a white tee-shirt with a coloured motif on the front and spoke to members of the public while she was in the park.

Officers would like to speak to anybody who thinks they may have seen her, particularly the person who helped her when she asked for directions to Harlestone Road.

The offender is described as being of mixed race, about 5ft 7ins with a trimmed beard, black hair, dark jeans and a black top.
