Raiders attempt to break into Northampton working men's club

Burglars tried break into a working men's club in Northampton but failed to smash a window - or jimmy open the door.

A working men's club in Semilong was targetted by raiders over the weekend.

The attempted burglary took place at Semilong working men’s club in St Andrews Road, Northampton, sometime between 11pm on Saturday, November 5 and 8am on Sunday, November 6.

The offenders tried to smash the front window but were unable to penetrate it, according to a police spokeswoman. There were also marks on the door where they attempted to jimmy it open.
