Police pursuit ends after vehicle smashes into Northampton roundabout
Two men were arrested after a car careered across a roundabout and crashed into trees in Northampton.
The black Rover was followed along Boughton Green Road by a police car for two to three minutes at around 1.40pm today (Friday September 16) after allegedly failing to stop when signalled to do so by officers.
At the roundabout at the junction of Boughton Green Road and Holly Lodge Road (the A5076) the Rover appeared to lose control, mounted the central island and struck a group of trees.
Northamptonshire Police said two men were detained at the scene and were being questioned by officers.
