Motorcyclist left with serious injuries after crash on M1 in Northamptonshire

A motorcyclist was seriously injured following a collision on the M1 in Northamptonshire yesterday evening.

At around 7pm a red Honda 1000v motorbike was travelling southbound along the M1.

The rider passed Junction 15 and continued for a few miles before hitting the hitting the central reservation.

The 40-year-old motorcyclist, who police said is from Yorkshire, suffered serious injuries.
