Man tries to grab boy, 12, from a street in Northampton

A man tried to grab a 12-year-old boy during an incident which police are describing as '˜suspicious'.

The incident happened in Ardington Road, Abington, when the boy was about 200 yards up the road and a man got out of a car and tried to grab him by the wrist.

The boy kicked back and managed to get away and run off.

The offender is described as a white man aged 30 to 35-years-old.

The incident happened between 3.35pm and 3.40pm on Tuesday, May 24.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have any information regarding it.
