The young people were walking in Daventry along Little Lane – the footpath behind Tesco running from New Street to Church Walk, at around 7pm on Sunday May 15.

The suspect grabbed one of them and threatened to hurt him if he didn’t hand over his phone. He then demanded one of the others hand him a phone.

When the group refused he ran off in the direction of McDonald’s and Vicar Lane.
