Man and woman from Northampton charged with rape and supplying Class A drugs remanded in custody

A man and woman from Northampton who have been charged with more than 100 offences, including supply of Class A drugs and rape, have been remanded in custody after they appeared in court.

Nicholas Taylor, aged 47, of no fixed abode, who has been charged with 71 offences, including supply of Class A drugs, rape and other sexual offences and Joan Taylor, 43, of Lorne Road, Semilong, Northampton, who has been charged with 34 offences, including supply of Class A drugs, rape, other sexual offences and being in possession of indecent images, appeared at Northampton Magistrates’ Court today, (Friday).

The case was sent to Northampton Crown Court for a hearing on August 19. Both defendants were remanded in custody.
