Man, 34, left with facial injuries following nighttime assault in Northampton

A 34-year-old man was left with "significant facial injuries" after he was assaulted in Northampton.

A man was left with facial injuries after being assaulted in Carey Street.

The man was walking along Carey Street on Saturday night, November 5, when he was approached by what might have been group of people.

The 34-year-old was assaulted, "sustaining significant facial injuries," according to a police spokeswoman.

The incident took place at about 11.30pm and investigating officers would like to speak to anyone who may have been in the area at the time and witnessed the assault.
