Investigation launched after 'unexplained death' in Northampton

Northamptonshire Police were called to an address in White Hills Way yesterday (Tuesday), at about 12.30pm, following reports of the unexplained death of a man in his 60s.

An eyewitness said forensic investigators were on scene and a police car has been at the property overnight and remains at the address now.

A spokeswoman for Northamptonshire Police said the force will be able to provide a further update tomorrow once the postmortem has been carried out this afternoon.

She added: “This is a fast-moving investigation and a team of detectives are working to gather all the evidence and ascertain exactly what happened here.”
