Image released of man after attempted burglary at pub in Northampton

A CCTV image has been released by police after an attempted burglary took place at a pub in Northampton town centre.

On Wednesday, June 1 at about 5am a man broke into the building and tried to force open a till, which set the alarm off. He then left empty-handed.

The offender is described as a white male with a slim build, about 5ft 8in, aged 15 – 25. He was wearing black or grey Adidas jogging bottoms and a grey hooded top with the hood up.

Police are releasing a CCTV image of a man they’d like to speak to in connection with the incident.

Anyone who recognises the man in the attached image - or who witnessed the incident - is asked to contact police.
