Fourth man jailed for burglary of bookmakers in Northampton

A fourth man has been jailed for taking part in a burglary of a bookmakers in Northampton.

Colin Mosdell, aged 30, received an 18-month custodial sentenced for burglary and 18 months for robbery, to run consecutively, after he appeared at Birmingham Crown Court today.

Three other men were sentenced two weeks ago for their part in the burglary in St Leonards Road, Far Cotton, on Friday, April 17, 2015, when a safe and its contents of £4,600 were taken.

In the incident, the offenders gained entry to the bookmakers by cutting a hole in a breeze block wall.
