Police officers carried out three drugs raids in Brixworth this morning.
Officers forced entry to the three properties at the same time along with a team of workers from Daventry District Council.
Evidence of drug use and Class B drugs were found at two of the properties, resulting in the caution of one person for possession of Class B drugs and another person being issued with a cannabis warning. One of the raids took place in Ryngwell Close.
Sergeant Matt Moore, from the Daventry Rural Safer Community Team, said: “The use of drugs is not just an urban issue and can impact on rural village communities as much as large towns and cities.
“If you are concerned about drug use where you live, or want to report a crime, call police on 101 or, if you do not want to be identified to police, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
