Crowbar vandal smashed Honda windows in Northampton before running off

A crowbar-carrying vandal smashed all the windows of a car in Northamptn before throwing all of its contents across the road.

Police are hunting a man who used a crowbar to cause criminal damage to a blue Honda in Northampton.

Northamptonshire Police is appealing for witnesses following the criminal damage to a car in Watermeadow Drive, off Lings Way, on Sunday, October 16.

Between 1.40am and 2am, a force spokeswoman said "extensive damage" was caused to a blue Honda. Most of the windows were smashed and the contents were thrown across the road. The offender was disturbed during the incident and made off towards Crestwood Road.

The offender is described as a white man of medium build with short dark hair, wearing a brown jacket and carrying a crowbar and a small bag.
