Detectives hunting burglars who tied up and robbed a 92-year-old pensioner have released CCTV pictures of two men they want to speak to.

Police revealed last week two thieves bound their victim to a chair while rifling through his property in Northampton, making off with a large quantity of cash and high-value gold jewellery.

And an initial appeal for information has brought forward a CCTV image of two men they believe may have information about the burglary.

One man is wearing a black baseball cap, sunglasses and red gloves and his carrying a cardboard box. The other is wearing what appears to be blue denim jeans and black gloves.

Two men gained entry to a house in Woodland Close, in the Hopping Hill area of the town, between 8.30am and 11.30am on Monday, February 3.
