Boy punched in face by phone robbers as he walked to school in Northampton

A 15-year-old boy was punched in the face after he refused to give a gang a teenagers his mobile phone while on the way to school in Northampton.

Northamptonshire Police is appealing for witnesses after a 15-year-old boy was set upon by three teens just after 8am on Tuesday, May 24.

They demanded the 15-year-old hand over cash and his mobile phone and when he refused, one of them punched him in the face.

The robbery took place happened in Lindsay Avenue, Abington, Northampton, as the victim walked to school with his friends.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed it, or who may have any information about it.
