Congestion around several Northampton roads caused by works at roundabout
Long queues that formed round the south and west of Northampton this morning were caused by roadworks on the town's ring road.
Danes Camp, Upton Way and Edgar Mobbs Way all suffered delays during rush hour, partly caused by the closure of an inside lane at the Tesco roundabout.
The work is necessary to repair a safety barrier that was smashed when a car crashed into the subway below in December.
Repair work could last until Thursday.
