Cobblers players spread some Christmas cheer with visit to NGH and school

Northampton Town's players were out and about spreading some festive cheer to those a little less fortunate this Christmas.

Some of the squad visited the children's wards at Northampton General Hospital on Thursday December 15 to hand gifts to the youngsters, while other members of the squad visited the Gateway School in Tiffield to deliver some gifts.

Gateway is a school who cater for 11 to 18-year-olds with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties.

Other members of the squad met supporters and visited retailers in the town centre.

A spokesman for the club said: "We would like to say a big thank you to Morrisons, Kettering Road, Bookers and Tesco Mereway for supporting these visits."
