Shoppers can win hampers, toys and Christmas food items during a series of prize draws at Northampton market this festive season.
Tickets for the draws will be available with every purchase made on the market throughout December.
The draws will be on Fridays, December 4, 11 and 18, with the last one held on Wednesday, December 23.
Councillor Jonathan Nunn of the Market Square advisory group, said: “The market in Northampton always joins in with the Christmas spirit and it’s great to see our stall holders being a part of the December prize draw.
“It’s great for shoppers buying from the market to also be in with a chance of winning a special prize. We look forward to welcoming lots of visitors to the Market Square this festive season.”
Northampton’s Market Square is one of the oldest and largest in England and sells a variety of fresh produce from fruit, vegetables and locally-sourced food to flowers and plants. There are also stalls selling clothing, accessories, music, jewellery and much more.
Markets are held Monday to Saturday and over the festive season there will be additional Sunday market days on December 13 and 20.
