Chinese takeaway stolen from delivery vehicle by peckish thieves in Northampton

A Chinese takeaway was snatched from a delivery vehicle parked outside a shop in Northampton after the driver was met by six men.

The incident happened at about 11.20pm on Thursday, March 7, when the driver parked outside the Uni Express shop on Boughton Green Road.

When the victim spoke to one of the men through the driver’s side window of his car, another man opened the passenger door and stole the bag of food.

All six then ran off towards the university buildings.

The six men were all black and wore dark coloured hoodies, Northamptonshire Police say.
