CHILDREN from a holiday club in Daventry helped to celebrate the opening of the new- look Hobbycraft store in Northampton.

Youngsters from Churches Together attended a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of the refurbished store in Weedon Road.

The store will now feature a regular programme of activities designed to offer customers a more interactive experience, including a special craft evening of free demonstrations on Thursday, September 8.

There will also be more of a focus on children’s arts and crafts, with regular Make ’n’ Take sessions for youngsters to enjoy.

Lisa Looker, brand director for Hobbycraft, said: “We are delighted to give our Northampton store a great new makeover. We really hope it helps to inspire children and adults alike to discover some of life’s simpler pleasures and get creative.”
