Chief Constable Simon Edens joined Supt Dennis Murray, Chief Supt Mick Stamper, Community Engagement Officer Rachel Packman and others from across the community on Tuesday night (March 28).

During a short speech before the unveiling, Mr Edens spoke about plans for the force to remain at Wootten Hall and how he hoped the new plaque would remain at the site for at least the next 50 years.

He said he hoped future chief constables would be reminded of the advice and support the community has given to Northamptonshire Police.
