Charities benefit from association ‘s annual dance

The Northampton Punjabi Association held their fifth annual charity fundraiser raising £2,300 for various charities locally and internationally. Charities that benefited were Spectrum – a rehabilitation centre for adults with learning difficulties in Northampton, Teddies for Loving Care, Pingalwara and Sikh Union who run projects across India and Africa.

Amrit Matharu, NPA Secretary said: “Real community spirit could be seen on the night which is all a phenomenal contribution to helping make a difference to people’s lives.”

A further £325 was raised at the event to support the association’s chosen charities.
