Cash stolen after armed robbery at Northampton pub

Three robbers wearing balaclavas stole cash from a pub in Northampton after they threatened the manager and forced him to open the safe.

The robbery took place in Billing Mill pub in The Causeway, Great Billing, Northampton on Friday, April 17.

Sometime between 10.30am and 11am, three men broke into the property, which was closed at the time.

The robbers threatened the manager, who was forced to open the safe. They stole cash from inside and escaped in a dark-coloured car.

All three offenders were wearing balaclavas. One is described as mixed race, about 5ft 8in with a medium build and facial stubble. Another was about 6ft with a slim build. He was carrying a black crowbar. A third was of medium height and was wearing a dark-grey tracksuit jacket.

Police would particularly like to speak to a witness who stopped and gave officers information, shortly after the incident.
