Police are looking for the man in this CCTV picture following two burglaries in Northampton.

Officers investigating two house burglaries in Northampton have released an image of a man who they believe can help them with the case.

Two houses in Covington Street, near Wellingborough Road, were broken into within hours of each other on the evening of Sunday, November 16 last year.

While the occupants were still inside, a thief broke in and stole a variety of items, including bank cards and mobile phones.

One of the bank cards was later used at a number of cashpoints along Wellingborough Road and at the Costcutter store in the street.

Officers investigating the case would like to speak to a man who was seen in Costcutter at the time one of the cards was used. He was white and wore a blue hooded top and dark trousers.

Witnesses, or anyone who recognises the man in the picture, can call Northamptonshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
