The women will battle it out over six gruelling events at the Northampton Casuals Rugby Ground, in Bedford Road, Rushmills, to test their strength, speed and power in a bid to be crowned Britain’s Strongest Woman 2016.

The contest, which is split into three different weight class groups: under 63kg (around 9.5 stone), under 82kg (around 12.5 stone), and then the open weight category, will be held on Sunday, August 21.
